About

Lancashire Council of Mosques (LCM) was established in 1989 as an umbrella organisation representing Mosques and religious teaching institutions in Lancashire. The initial establishment was fuelled by a desire to provide a united and uniform platform to promote the needs and aspirations of the county’s Muslim community. LCM is founded on the principles of serving the communities of Lancashire.

Project Name

LCM BEREAVEMENT & COUNSELLING SERVICE

Services Offered

LCM recognises the difficulties and challenges that losing a loved and dear one can bring and therefore have set up a Bereavement & Counselling helpline to offer support and advice to friends, families and carers of the deceased. We at LCM would sincerely like to offer our unreserved sympathies and sincere condolences at this sad and difficult time. This helpline will offer guidance and advice on dealing with grief and loss and is staffed by trained volunteers in working with bereaved families. This support is available to you should you need it during this difficult time or at a later period in time, when it's required. We understand losing a loved one is not easy, but you are not alone as this helpline has been setup solely to listen, support and help you.
